Hawai'i is a rich and powerful land. Because the islands
are in such a state of creation, spirits of the land flock
here. They may not always be visible to the naked eye,
but here in this magical land, they can be seen with the camera. |

white lights arranged in a 'V' shape off to the lower left
of the photographs. |

At first I thought these were light leaks from the camera
or some mechanical problem with development. Then I
noticed how the pattern didn't vary and was position in the
same place in the tree in each photo, even though the camera
had moved. |
| Is this a play of light? A mechanical defect somewhere?
Or are these really little spirits living in this land deciding
to show themselves to my camera? |
